As mentioned above, the use of usernames instead of phone numbers means your account isnβt tied to just one phone. This makes it easier to log in on other devices, allows you to have multiple accounts on the same device, and makes it so you donβt have to share your phone number with someone to add them as a contact in Telegram. To do this, head over to Telegramβs settings by sliding over the hamburger menu from the left of the app. Here, choose βSettingsβ and then click on βChat Settingsβ. In this menu, you will see a number of themes and colour options to choose from. Further, you can also change the curve on message boxes and font size. Use Hashtags to Organize Your Chats
Telegram allows you to schedule messages to be sent at a particular time. Further, you can also send βsilentβ messages without sound when you do not want to disturb the receiver. This can be ideal when you want to send your boss a message, while you know he/she is in a meeting or when you want to send a friend something important when theyβre out with their family. Telegram users can send each other live locations just like WhatsApp. Live locations allow the receiver to track the sender in real-time for a set amount of time when theyβre on the move. However, with Telegram, both parties can also set proximity alerts. These are mini-alerts that will ring when another user gets close. You can, for instance, set up a proximity alert for when your friend gets within a 50-meter radius of you at the mall, so you can start looking for them around you. Chat Folders And now you have your own newly themed Telegram. There are so many themes on the Android Themes channel that you can change them daily and still wonβt run out of them in years, so enjoy!!
In addition to these functions, you can enable in-app browsing that lets you open external links within the app. All these options are available under the βChat Settingsβ section. Free Unlimited Online Storage Mute Specific Telegram Chats On desktop applications, chat folders are displays in the sidebar. In the mobile app, these folders are arranged in tabs that can be easily swiped between.
On Android, tap the three-dot Menu button in the top-right of any Telegram chat and choose Mute notifications. On iOS, tap the contact or group name at the top of the screen and choose Mute. Then you can choose to mute the chat for various periods of time, or forever. Boo! Check out the new and upcoming Halloween/horror streaming shows and movies
